Team Falcons Wins DreamLeague Season 22

In a display of sheer dominance, Team Falcons bagged the DreamLeague Season 22 with an impeccable 3-0 series, defeating BetBoom Team in the grand finals on 10th March. This consecutive tournament win not only solidified Team Falcon’s prowess but also marked the beginning of Team Falcons' journey to becoming one of the best Dota 2 teams in history. Notably, following this win, Team Falcons is on an impressive twenty-three series win streak that began during the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai.

Team Falcons Wins The DreamLeague Season 22

The grand finals of DreamLeague Season 22, held on 10th March, witnessed an intense showdown between Team Falcons and BetBoom Team, with both sides vying for the prestigious title of champions. However, it was Team Falcons that showcased exceptional skill, strategy, and teamwork throughout the tournament. 

During the tournament, Team Falcons encountered BetBoom Team in four different instances. The first time these two teams clashed was at the group stage 1 of the tournament which ended in a decisive 1-1 draw. Following this, Team Falcons made it clear it was the better team between the two as it dominated BetBoom Team in its second encounter with a 2-0 series during group stage 2. 

However, BetBoom Team is not to be taken lightly. It finished group stage 2 with a second place standing in the group stage 2 table and found itself matched against Team Falcons at the upper bracket finals during the playoffs. The rivalry between these two teams was evident at this point and BetBoom Team took the first win of the series but Team Falcons soon recovered and won the series with a 2-1 score, knocking BetBoom Team to the lower bracket.

However, BetBoom Team recovered from this loss and beat Xtreme Gaming to make its way to the grand finals through the lower bracket where it faced its rival Team Falcons once again. But Team Falcons dominated BetBoom Team at the grand finals and won the series in a dominating fashion, taking home $300,000 USD and 4,800 EPT points, propelling itself to third place on the EPT Leaderboard.

But all hope is not lost for BetBoom Team. The Esports World Cup Federation confirmed that BetBoom Team was the first team to secure a spot at the Riyadh Masters 2024 which will be held at the Esports World Cup 2024 later in July.

With this win, Team Falcons has so far won two of two major Dota 2 tournaments held in 2024. Last month, it beat Team Liquid with a clean sweep in the grand finals of BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai and won its first-ever tier 1 Dota 2 LAN tournament. The current roster of the team took shape in November 2023 during the post-TI (The International) roster shuffle and has been proving to be a strong force to be reckoned with, even rivaling some of the biggest Dota 2 teams currently. 

Demonstrating its potential to be one of the greatest teams in Dota 2 history, Team Falcons is now gearing up for the upcoming ELITE League which is slated to kick off on 31st March and aims for the hat-trick.
