All Teams Invites and Qualified for PGL Wallachia Season 1

The final list of the upcoming PGL Wallachia Season 1 is now confirmed
With over sixteen teams vying for the lion's share of the $1 Million USD prize pool, the tournament is set to be held in Romania
PGL Wallachia marks the official beginning of the three year long commitment to Dota 2 Esports

Earlier this year, tournament organizers PGL committed to a three-long tournament marathon for Dota 2. The organizer stated that 2024 will bear witness to two tournaments, each with a $1 Million USD prize pool. 

PGL Wallachia Season 1 is the inaugural tournament of this three-year-long commitment from the organizers which will kick off on 10th May 2024 and be held in PGL Studios in Bucharest, Romania.

The list of participating teams is now final and it consists of sixteen teams in total, out of the sixteen teams, ten received direct invites while the remaining six made their way through their respective regional qualifiers. These sixteen teams will be vying for the biggest chunk of the prize pool and win the inaugural PGL tournament.

PGL Wallachia Season 1 marks the start of a three-year-long commitment from PGL. This tournament is set to be one of the top tournaments of 2024 with a prize pool similar to BetBoom Dacha, DreamLeague, and ESL One tournaments.

Where to Watch?

Although PGL Wallachia Season 1 is a LAN tournament, there have been no reports of ticket sales going live for the tournament and as of now, it is not confirmed if there will be tickets sold for the tournament. 

However, the games will be broadcast on Twitch and in five different languages. The streams will be broadcast in English, Russian, Chinese, Spanish, and Portuguese.

At the time of writing, the links for these Twitch channels have not yet been disclosed and the article will be updated with the same as PGL releases the links for the streams.
