Fnatic has added Malaysian midlaner, Ng Kee "ChYuan" Chyuan, to their Dota 2 team to complete their roster ahead of the SEA 2021 DPC Season 2: Upper Division. ChYuan will not be playing in his conventional mid lane role but instead, is switching to the offlane for the team, the organization communicated through its social media handles. He now replaces the team’s former offlaner, Natthaphon "Masaros" Ouanphakdee, who was benched by Fnatic in April 2021. ChYuan’s inclusion in the roster comes after Fnatic had a rough showing at the recently concluded ONE Esports Singapore Major as the team finished in the 9th-12th position.

  2. Kam "Moon" Boon Seng
  3. Ng Kee "ChYuan" Chyuan
  4. Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong
  5. Djardel Jicko B. "DJ" Mampusti

The 25-year-old Malaysian player is primarily known for his time with Geek Fam (2017-18) and Team Aster (2019-20). His major accomplishments during this time include the championship title at StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 3 and Asia Pacific Predator League 2018. With Team Aster, he had also played at the Dota 2 Majors, DreamLeague Season 13 and MDL Chengdu Major.

Fnatic, who was expected to be the strongest SEA team coming into the ONE Esports Singapore Major, suffered consecutive heavy defeats under the hands of Evil Geniuses and OB.Neon. As a result, they were eliminated in the 9th-12th position and had to go home empty-handed. Masaros, who had only joined the team in November 2020, found himself out of the squad after this disappointing performance.
