Na’Vi RodjER, who occupies the position four role for the team, stated that Europe is the strongest region in Dota 2 currently. In a Vlog posted on Na’Vi’s YouTube channel, Vladimir "RodjER" Nikogosian also expressed his opinion regarding the strategies and playstyle of the European as well as the Chinese teams. According to him, the Chinese region has its own exclusive style of playing the game, which is different from the playstyle of Na’Vi. On the other hand, the Russian felt that Europe was the strongest, and he himself watched their replays to learn something from their strategies. RodjER also talked about the hero preferences for the teams in Europe and the CIS.

Na’Vi RodjER talks about the playstyle of European and Chinese teams
RodjER stated that because the Chinese had a distinct playstyle from Na’Vi, any strategies he learned from them would not work.
“I think this (Europe) is the strongest region at the moment. The Chinese are playing their own Dota, and it’s different from all other regions. I watch their games occasionally to try and adopt something from them, but it won’t work because our playstyle is totally different. Europe is better this way- you can learn something from their strategies. I mostly watch their replays and might take a peek at others, but they are also fun.”
RodjER then talked about the importance that many teams are now giving to their signature heroes.
“All teams are slowly getting back to playing their old signature heroes. Nigma played Earthshaker and Venomancer, which they picked at TI7. Furion, too, for MinD_ContRoL and Ceb. Everyone realizes that playing your comfortable heroes and building strategies around them is the way to go.”
Na’Vi had a decent run in the recently concluded CIS 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division, having finished in the second spot with a 5-2 series record. They dropped some matches here and there but in the end, secured a spot in the Major group stage.
