  • Topson is Back and he’s playing in OG’s match against FlyToMoon for ESL One Birmingham Online

Topson hasn't played in OG since ESL One LA Closed Qualifiers but after N0tail revealed Topson would return to play for them, he’s finally back.

OG’s mid-laner Topias Miikka "Topson" Taavitsainen is back on the active roster and ready to play in the upcoming ESL One Birmingham 2020 - Online: Europe & CIS. Their first match is against FlyToMoon later today (07:30 PM SGT) but it is unclear whether he’ll replace Ceb or MidOne in the lineup that played the previous two tournaments.

In either case, OG will still be playing with some handicaps considering the fact that their carry, SumaiL is playing from the United States with significant latency.

The team made an amazing return to the Dota 2 Pro Circuit after their second consecutive victory at TI last year qualifying for the ESL One Los Angeles Major without dropping a single game, fans were hyped to see them dominate with a new roster. However, the event was postponed due to the pandemic and was later moved online. Players were playing from different locations across the globe. This caused constant lag issues for Sumail who is currently in NA and MidOne who is in SEA. OG was forced to play with stand-ins or players with 200+ ping because their players were scattered across the world. Despite that, the team hasn’t stopped playing and with the addition of Topson, they may get back into form.
