1win esports has ventured into Dota 2 tournament organizing with the 1win Series Dota 2 Spring event, featuring eight teams competing for a $100,000 USD prize pool from 16th to 19th March, along with a selection of renowned casters and analysts.
The broadcast team for the event includes six members: Nikola “hairy_freak” Babić, Milan “MiLAN” Kozomara, Tim “DKtruman” de Lange, Gustavo “Bowie” Mattos, Lachlan “Ares” Williams, and the host Robbie “Robbnroll” Blakeman.

Esports organization 1win recently announced its entry into the realm of tournament organizing and made the Dota 2 community turn its head with its 1win Series Dota 2 Spring event. This Dota 2 tournament by 1win is set to host some of the biggest talents in the competitive scene and is scheduled to take place between 16th and 19th March. A total of eight teams will be aiming for the lion’s share of the $100,000 USD prize pool. 1win also announced its stellar crew of casters and analysts for the event who are all set to make 1win Series Dota 2 Spring eventful and insightful.


Broadcast Team Finalized for 1win Series Dota 2 Spring

1win esports announced the members of the broadcast team for the much-anticipated 1win Series Dota 2 Spring tournament. In total, six talented members will be working at the event. The casters and analysts are as follows:

  • Nikola “hairy_freak” Babić

  • Milan “MiLAN” Kozomara

  • Tim “DKtruman” de Lange

  • Gustavo “Bowie” Mattos

  • Lachlan “Ares” Williams

The event will be hosted by Robbie “Robbnroll” Blakeman. 


Announcing this event, 1win esports said, “In addition to lineups for different disciplines, we create tournaments of all magnitudes based on our internal values. The eight teams participating in this tournament are as follows:

The competition is divided into two stages. In the first stage, the eight teams will play in the group stage according to the GSL system. The two best teams from each group will advance to the play-off. The final part of the tournament will follow a single-elimination system. 

All matches will be broadcast on the 1win Series channels on Twitch and YouTube in Russian and English. The TO said that for viewers of the tournaments, additional activities with the participants will be organized, like interviews and much more.
