ZywOo Sets Record for Most Frags in Single Series at ESL Pro League Season 16
Did someone say hard carry?
The unstoppable French AWPer, Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, was an absolute beast during the ESL Pro League Season 16. He was the star player for Vitality, leading them from the front and bringing his top game to the server in each and every match.
ZywOo held an overall HLTV rating of 1.42 across 21 maps, shining bright in a league of his own. Despite playing a total of 591 rounds of CS:GO during the course of this tournament, he managed to attain an overall K/D of +207, more than double of the second highest rated player - Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato.
He was rightfully named as the MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the ESL Pro League Season 16, attaining his 13th such award overall and the first since IEM Winter 2021.
ZywOo wins the MVP award at ESL Pro League Season 16
There was no other player who came close to the level of competition and finesse that ZywOo brought to the table at the ESL Pro League Season 16. His insane consistency across every single match made him unstoppable against all the teams that were unfortunate enough to cross paths with Vitality.
Just when everyone thought ZywOo had reached his final form during the best-of-five grand finals against Team Liquid, he shifted gears to secure a total of 143 kills across five maps, carrying his side in the last three games.
He was the standout performer among all ten players in the server, miles ahead of everyone else with a K/D of +50 and a 1.39 series rating. Not only did ZywOo lead Vitality to its first victory of the season, but also set a new record for the most kills taken in a single series.
143 kills in total over five maps consisting of 155 rounds
A ratio of 0.92 kills per round
Series rating of 1.39 and tournament rating of 1.42
The previous record was held by Marcelo "coldzera" David who had taken 130 kills across five maps at the EPICENTER 2017. He had played a total of 151 rounds which resulted in a ratio of 0.86 kills per round.
ZywOo despite playing only four rounds more than coldzera, was able to secure 13 more kills which also reflects in the KPR (Kills Per Round) ratio of the two players.
