French esports organization, Karmine Corp, is considering entering competitive CS:GO.
Karmine Corp has already established itself across several esports titles like League of Legends, Valorant, Teamfight Tactics, Rocket League, and more.
Founder of Karmine Corp - Kameto, confirmed that discussions were taking place within the organization to make a properly informed decision.

France is about to host its first CS:GO Major in Paris next year but there is no tier one team to represent the country. Yes, Team Vitality is still technically a French esports organization, however it hosts an international roster which is not ideal.

The timing could not have been any better for Karmine Corp to consider stepping into competitive CS:GO, a move that is currently being pondered upon by Kamel "Kameto" Kebir, founder of the French organization.

In a recent interview with 1pv, Kameto revealed that he is keeping a close eye over the scene, following everything, and just trying to figure out a few things that will help the organization make a better decision.

Karmine Corp's next move: First Valorant, Now CS:GO?

Initially, a lot of former and current esports organizations from CS:GO had expanded into Valorant. Now, it seems that the reverse is also happening as Karmine Corp is considering a move to the Valve shooter after having acquired a franchise slot in the international Valorant league for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region.

During a recent interview, Kameto when asked about Karmine Corp's expansion into CS:GO had said that "CS is a real topic today. It is being considered, I have said this on stream myself. We are talking about it inside the organization, to see if we'll do it."

He went on to mention that at the moment a lot of things were going on and they are busy tending to those matters. However, once those are taken care of the organization will have a lot of time on its hands , "to reflect, and decide if Karmine Corp will come to CS:GO, how that will happen, and with whom."

Kameto - Founder of Karmine Corp

Kameto did confirm that he was watching a lot of CS:GO these days in a bid to understand the game and know more about this new scene, so that him and his management are able to make a properly informed decision.

“Before I potentially come to a game I am interested in, I try to watch the scene a lot just to understand what the stakes are, what’s important, what makes the audience tick and what’s going to make me want to watch for example Karmine Corp in CS:GO,” explains Kameto.

Karmine Corp could be targeting to enter the scene before the BLAST Paris Major 2023 which will be the first global CS:GO championship to take place next year.

The organization is not planning to spend a lot of money and aims to become the best right out of the gate. Instead it will opt to either sign a team made of veterans similar to the Brazilian last dance project , or sign a team with the potential to grow over time.
