Astralis recently faced G2 Esports in the lower bracket finals of IEM Katowice 2022, despite losing the match k0nfig delivered a memorable triple kill with a Deagle.
In the 17th round of the second map Dust 2, k0nfig shutdown G2's charge through 'A-Short' by hitting three consecutive headshots with a Deagle.
A community member further explained the tactic used by k0nfig to connect all the headshots precisely despite moving continually.

Astralis players are facing a tough time settling down despite being one of the first CS:GO teams to implement lineup changes last year. The new roster is yet to win a tournament as they continue their struggle, after barely managing to place in the top five in a few events.

The Danish esports organization was under the spotlight once again as they managed to make their way through the Play-In Stage all the way to the lower bracket of the Group Stage. In their final struggle against G2 Esports, Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke gave his best, top-performing for the side with 49 frags across the three maps.

However, the most epic moment was when k0nfig delivered three consecutive headshots with a Deagle on Dust 2 while playing T-sided. The clip has since gone viral across the community with many calling it one of the luckiest plays to have occurred in competitive CS:GO ever!

K0nfig lands three back-to-back headshots with a Deagle to shutdown G2 Esports

Astralis and G2 Esports faced each other in a do-or-die match in the lower bracket of IEM Katowice 2022 - Group Stage, with the winners qualifying ahead into the Playoffs. The Danish lineup started off well with a ‘16-12’ victory on their map Ancient but lost their momentum on the next two maps - Dust 2 and Inferno.

Despite the harsh defeats, k0nfig was able to deliver a stunning blow to G2 in the 17th round on Dust 2. Astralis had found its way into the ‘A-Site’ as G2 tried to force its way through ‘A-Short’. This is when k0nfig armed with a Deagle jumped into action, hitting three consecutive headshots that took down Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov, Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, and Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen.

While the shots were absolutely baffling and it definitely surprised everyone including the casters, viewers, and the players on G2 themselves, the doubt arose almost instantaneously as to how k0nfig was able to connect all the shots with such accuracy despite moving continuously.

Discussion on accuracy of the Deagle

This doubt was solved by a community member who explained that when a player is moving while crouched, he/she will have maximum accuracy on the Deagle. In fact, the accuracy is even higher when compared to a player standing still and upright while firing with the same weapon.
