Tarik Claims CS:GO Harder Than Valorant After Nitr0’s Struggles
Did Tarik just roast nitr0 on livestream?!
Popular North American CS:GO personality, Tarik "tarik" Celik has slowly grown himself into a full-time Twitch streamer while putting his competitive career on hold. He recently claimed that Counter-Strike is harder than Valorant.
While hosting a BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022 watch party on 3rd February, tarik was not impressed by the way Liquid performed against NAVI in the quarterfinals of the Play-In Stage. He even commented on Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella's performance in the tournament, which has certainly been not up to the mark.
However, the feedback by tarik was closer to a fun roast of his North American compatriot as he also took an indirect dig at Valorant, a game that he often streams on Twitch himself.
Tarik claims that CS:GO is harder than Valorant after witnessing nitr0 struggle with Team Liquid
Team Liquid has not had the best outing at the BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022, which is its inaugural CS:GO tournament of the 2022 season featuring its new overhauled roster.
During Liquid's first game against NAVI on Mirage in the quarterfinals of the Play-In Stage, Liquid was struggling hard at one point in time with nitr0 being the worst performer on the server. This is when tarik decided to speak his mind on the situation about former CS:GO players returning back to the game from Valorant.
Not only did he pull down on Valorant by insinuating that it is an easier game in comparison to CS:GO, but also ended up roasting poor nitr0 in the process.
Nitr0 was farming these motherf**kers in Valorant, now he comes over to CS and he’s having a hard time; it’s f**ked. At that point, i’m considering to go back (to Valorant) if I were him, like f**k this shit. Motherf**kers in Valorant weren’t shooting back.Tarik "tarik" Celik
Giving some leeway to Liquid's IGL (In-Game Leader), tarik agreed that it was indeed hard to adjust when switching between titles like Valorant and CS:GO, especially when someone is competing at such a high level.
Tarik followed up by claiming that CS:GO was indeed harder than Valorant, a statement that he has made earlier as well, sparking off a massive Twitter war between the two communities.
