Olofmeister, in a recent interview, came forward to reveal members of his CS:GO dream team.
Olofmeister chose one player from the current FaZe Clan lineup, two from Astralis, and two young talented players to complete his dream team.
Olofmeister's dream team looks really well balanced and a great team on paper, which could work out well if they were to actually come together.

FaZe Clan's unofficial substitute and two times CS:GO Major winner, Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer Gustafsson recently revealed his Counter-Strike dream team, which consists of two players from the Danish giants Astralis. The 29-year-old who has cemented himself as a Counter-Strike legend might not be at the same level as he once was, but he still packs a mighty punch having faithfully served FaZe Clan on and off since August 2017. There were some talks about his retirement, and he did take multiple breaks, only to return every time.

Olofmeister in an interview with betway esports revealed his dream CS:GO lineup, which consists of his long-standing teammate, Håvard "rain" Nygaard among other talented players. Surprisingly, olofmeister did not include himself in this roster and was happy to just coach them.

Olofmeister's CS:GO Dream Team

Olofmeister was given the task to select his Counter-Strike dream team and this is what he came up with. The Swede who is currently a part of FaZe Clan's active lineup for the fifth time seems to have a lot of belief in Astralis' players, including two of them in his lineup.

This is Olofmeister's complete CS:GO dream team lineup,

  • Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut - AWP / Star Player

  • Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander - IGL (In-game Leader)

  • Robin "ropz" Kool - Lurker / Anchor

  • Håvard "rain" Nygaard - Entry Fragger

  • Emil "Magisk" Reif - Versatile

  • Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer - Coach / Sixth Player

Olofmeister had a word or two to say for every player that he chose in his dream team, showing confidence in the roster that he had chosen by stating that,

I mean, I tried to pick a lineup that I think would work as a team. Not only like good players because if I only pick dream team of players, of course I will put in s1mple and NiKo and all kind of players in there right. I don't think they are the best individual players, but I think as a team that's my dream team at least.

  • ZywOo was the first pick by olofmeister who praised him for his talent and skill, commending him by saying that "I've never seen anyone as this kid before". Comparing ZywOo's current performance to his peak, olofmeister gave the French youngster a pat on the back.

  • Gla1ve was chosen as the IGL for the dream team with olofmesiter saying that "I think that's a pretty obvious choice". Commending the Dane for his history and all that he has achieved with Astralis so far.

  • Ropz was selected for the role of an Anchor and a Lurker by Olofmeister, highlighting the young rifler's aim and his composed mindset. He acknowledged that ropz does not get the credit that he deserves, but is someone very reliable.

  • Rain, his long standing teammate, was selected as the Entry Fragger for the side. Olofmeister said that he always takes on the hard roles and despite the struggle, rain still has it in him to go up against the best.

  • Magisk was the final player, who according to Olofmeister, would have a versatile role, filling in all the gaps for the team as and when required.

This is Olofmeister's dream CS:GO team, which actually looks really great and well balanced on paper. It would certainly be a dream for many to see them in action together; a team that is versatile, quick to adapt to different situations, and solid in pistol rounds.
