- FaZe Clan's in-game leader coldzera assembles his CS:GO dream team which comprises of a complete Brazilian lineup.
- Coldzera's dream team includes a mix of old and new Brazilian CS:GO players like TACO and KSCERATO.
- Coldzera chose an all-Brazilian lineup as his dream CS:GO team because he believes it is easier to communicate in native language while competing.
FaZe Clan’s current in-game leader Marcelo “coldzera” David recently revealed his CS:GO dream team in an interview with Parimatch Esports. Coldzera chose an all Brazilian lineup as his perfect Counter-Strike team consisting of both old and new players. Coldzera explained why he had chosen these players for his star lineup while stating the following reason to go with a Brazilian roster “It is easier to communicate when you speak your native language because sometimes information has to be transferred faster. Your team needs to understand you very quickly. Sometimes you waste milliseconds and that can play a role in the game. Therefore, it is easier for English speakers in international teams.”
Coldzera CS:GO Dream Team
Coldzera who is ready to move away from his responsibilities as FaZe Clan’s in-game leader to focus on his own game has revealed his dream CS:GO lineup. The Brazilian dream team which is a good mix of current stars and old experienced players is as follows,
- Marcelo “coldzera” David
- Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo
- Epitacio "TACO" de Melo
- Yuri "yuurih" Santos
- Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato
This is coldzera’s CS:GO dream team. He chose FalleN as the team’s IGL and the reason behind selecting him was that “FalleN is a good player for my team. He's a little old, but he has a keen mind”. Coldzera also praised KSCERATO by saying that “I like KSCERATO. I consider him the new superstar in Brazil. He is young and very talented”.
TACO was an obvious choice as coldzera has previously stated that TACO is the best CS:GO player that he has ever played with because “He plays for the team”. Yuurih was his pick for the role of an entry fragger and though he did not give any explanation for choosing him, the 21-year-old has been doing a fantastic job along with FURIA Esports and as coldzera wanted a full Brazilian lineup he seems to be a perfect fit.
Coldzera left MIBR in September 2019 and has been playing with FaZe Clan ever since. He has been going through a rough patch lately not able to find the rhythm he had hoped for, the departure of Nikola “NiKo” Kovac’s only made it worse.
But the restructuring that the lineup is currently going through seems to be a good one. FaZe has already signed the Canadian rifler Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken to act as their star player and as per heavy speculations, might soon be signing Finn "karrigan" Andersen as their new IGL also. This will see the emergence of a new FaZe roster who are looking like a really strong team on paper.
