Karrigan in a recent interview came forward to reveal members of his Counter-Strike dream team.
Karrigan did not choose a single player from his current team FaZe Clan, instead, he went on to make a mixed lineup consisting of CS 1.6 legends and CS:GO superstars.
Karrigan's dream team might look a bit weird on paper, but then he was confident that the team would work out well if everyone stuck to their roles.

FaZe Clan's in-game leader (IGL) Finn "karrigan" Andersen recently revealed his Counter-Strike dream team consisting of players from both CS 1.6 and CS:GO. The 31-year-old who is considered to be one of the best and most experienced IGL in the world at the moment picked an assortment of Counter-Strike players, in an interview with betway esports. He picked some old school legends like Christoffer "Sunde" Sunde and Fatih "gob b" Dayik, both of whom are former Counter-Strike players who have not played the game recently, along with three active players. Surprsingly, karrigan did not include himself in this lineup and was happy to coach his CS:GO dream team.

Karrigan's CS:GO Dream Team

Karrigan was given the task to select his Counter-Strike dream team and this is what he came up with. The Dane who is currently the captain for FaZe Clan did not have a single player from his current lineup, except for himself in the role of a coach.

This is karrigan's complete dream team lineup,

  • Christoffer "Sunde" Sunde - AWP

  • Fatih "gob b" Dayik - IGL

  • Robin "ropz" Kool - Lurker

  • Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev - Hybrid / Star

  • Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth - Support

  • Finn "karrigan" Andersen - Coach

Karrigan had a word or two to say for every player that he chose in his dream team, showing confidence in the roster that he had chosen by putting in actual thought to comeup with a good mixed roster.

  • Sunde was picked as the primary AWPer simply because of his personality, mainly how calm he tends to remain in the server. The retired Danish CS 1.6 player was one of the best marksmen of his time, even rivalling the legendary Yehor "markeloff" Markelov, and as per karrigan even beating the Ukrainian back in the day.

  • Gob B was chosen as the IGL for his side by karrigan who called him "a god in 1.6 as a caller and also as a mentor, the way he motivated and cared about his teammates, the way he tried to explain stuff." Karrigan further revealed that much of his leading style was also inspired by the German shotcaller.

  • Ropz was an immediate pick for karrigan as he needed some young blood in his team. The Dane went on to praise ropz by stating that "his mechanics are the best that I have seen in the game," which is huge for the 21-year-old who has spent a good part of his career playing with karrigan.

  • S1mple was quickly chosen as the star player for the team by karrigan, who named him as a hybrid player. Karrigan while calling him the "god of CS:GO" went on to highlight his insane consistency that s1mple has shown over the years, proving himself to be amongst the top players for many years now.

  • Xyp9x was karrigan's fifth and final player, choosing him for his excellent support ability and clutch potential. Karriigan called him a tournament winner and a player who knows how to make an era, someone who would round up the team really well.

This was Karrigan's Counter-Strike dream team, though it might look a bit weird on paper the Dane was confident that if everyone was to stick to their role it would be a force to reckon with. A team with at least a 90% potential to win clutches no matter what the odds were, is how karrigan described this lineup.
