S1mple Explains What Would Happen if He Switched From CS:GO to Valorant
The GOAT of CS:GO might end up becoming the god of Valorant as well.
After two years, Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, was finally named the best CS:GO player in the world. The achievement was rightly deserved by him as he had a brilliant year individually, while also helping NAVI achieve one of its best years ever competing in the title.
The Ukrainian marksmen clocked an overall HLTV rating of 1.35, an ADR (Average Damage per Round) of 88.2, and an impact rating of 1.43. Additionally, s1mple also bagged an astounding eight MVP (Most Valuable Player) awards last year, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Nicolai "device" Reedtz, with a total of 19 MVP awards to his name so far.
So when s1mple introduced himself as the best CS:GO player in the world in one of his recent Twitch streams, many felt that he deserved it. However, his next line about dominating everyone in Valorant if he were to make the switch could be a bit of a stretch.
S1mple claims that if he switched from CS:GO to Valorant he would destroy everyone
In one of his recent Twitch streams, s1mple introduced himself as the best CS:GO player in the world.
The star AWPer followed this up by stating that if he ever switched from CS:GO to Valorant, he would be destroying everyone although some time would be required to fine tune certain things. The 24-year-old agreed that a player cannot simply switch titles and start dominating over there. However, with enough time and practice it was certainly possible.
S1mple has showcased how strong of a player he can be when it comes to playing Valorant. He has already displayed a clear affinity towards streaming the game and enjoys it as well.
However, it is clear that the NAVI star has no plans of stepping back from competitive CS:GO, especially now when he has finally gathered a perfect team and they are dominating the competitive circuit.
Competing in Valorant is certainly not something that can be completely dismissed as s1mple might consider a switch somewhere down the line.
In a recent interview with Dexerto, when s1mple was asked what other esport title could he play professionally? The response was, that once he finishes CS:GO he could see himself playing Valorant or FIFA.
