Highlights
Stanislaw might be on his way back to Evil Geniuses (EG) CS:GO team after eight months, as per reports.
Stanislaw will not be joining the main EG roster and will be potentially a part of EG.CD, replacing the young rifler CLASIA from the lineup.
EG.CD will be seen in action next month with the start of ESL Challenger League Season 42, possibly with the updated CS:GO roster.

The Evil Geniuses (EG) veteran, Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz, might be on his way back to the North American organization after being released in November last year alongside Owen "oBo" Schlatter.

Since his departure, stanislaw has gone on to compete with regional teams like Disconnected and BHOP Esports for two and four months, respectively. Now, it seems the 28-year-old is supposedly set to join one of the three rosters owned by the organization, EG.CD.

The Canadian might be replacing the 18-year-old rifler, Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney, who had joined the the former Carpe Diem (CD) roster about four months ago, according to a report by DUST2 US.

The former EG shotcaller might be on his way back to the organization but with a different CS:GO lineup. Stanislaw is reportedly set to join one of EG's secondary lineups, replacing CLASIA on the former CD lineup to provide them with a boost of experience.

It is a possibility that Stanislaw might be handed the reins of this roster over from their current captain, Colby "Walco" Walsh, giving him the space required to concentrate on his individual game while learning the trade of leading a team from one of the regional veterans.

If the report turns out to be true, the roster will have four players who are roughly 20-years-old except for Stanislaw, whose inclusion in the team might have more to do with grooming the players rather than bolstering it with more firepower.

His extensive knowledge and expertise makes him an ideal candidate for the role, if this is actually something that the organization is planning to achieve with this lineup.

Under stanislaw, EG has previously achieved some of its biggest successes in CS:GO like victories at ESL One: New York 2019, StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 8, BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 American Finals, and ESL One: Cologne 2020 Online NA.

The team fell flat in 2021 and has been unable to recover ever since despite undergoing heavy roster shuffles. The ongoing 'Blueprint Project' was undertaken by the organization to counter its lack of success.

It will certainly be interesting to see how the addition of a senior player like stanislaw helps bring about a change in its young development roster in the months ahead.

The potential EG.CD lineup could look as follows,

  • Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz - IGL

  • Colby "Walco" Walsh - Rifler

  • Jadan "HexT" Postma - Rifler (Entry Fragger)

  • Jerric "wiz" Jiang - AWP

  • Connor "chop" Sullivan - Rifler

  • Tommy "Axed" Ryan - Coach
