IEM Rio CS:GO Major to Host Live Audience Across All Stages, IEM Fan Fest, More

ESL has taken adequate measures to extend ticket sales for the upcoming IEM Rio Major 2022, without making any changes to the decided venue - Jeunesse Arena, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The methods adopted by the tournament organizers to extend its reach to more Brazilian audiences are as follows:

1. Opening the Challengers and Legends stage of the Rio Major to a live audience for the second time in the history of CS:GO Majors.

2. Converting the main stage layout to a 360° center stage setup, almost doubling the number of available tickets.

3. Introducing the IEM Fan Fest which will feature the popular Brazilian personality Alexandre "Gaules" Borba, taking place alongside the playoffs right outside Jeunesse Arena.

IEM Rio Major 2022: ESL introduces multiple changes to increase ticket sales and accommodate a larger live audience

The IEM Rio Major 2022 will become the first CS:GO Major by ESL to ever host a live audience across all stages of the tournament - Challengers, Legends, and Champions Stage.

Additionally, it will also be the first CS:GO tournament by ESL to feature a 360° center stage setup instead of the conventional layout used across all its other events. This will automatically enable the number of attendees to double in number.

And finally, ESL has decided to organize a huge Fan Fest for those who would want to enjoy the playoffs along with Gaules right outside the Jeunesse Arena.

These array of changes have been introduced following the latest decision taken by ESL, as it plans on accommodating more than 100,000 live audience members across this tournament.

Both Challengers Stage and Legends Stage of the IEM Rio Major 2022 will take place at the RioCentro Hall 6, which is an indoor convention center.

The ticket sales for these will go live tomorrow on 14^th September from 15:00 BRT (Brasilia Time).

• IEM Rio Major 2022: Legends Stage - 5^th to 8^th Nov

The additional tickets for the Champions Stage (Playoffs) which will take place at the Jeunesse Arena will be going live tomorrow on 14^th September from 15:00 BRT (Brasilia Time).

• IEM Rio Major 2022: Champions Stage - 10^th to 13^th Nov

The tickets for the IEM Fan Fest which will be taking place right outside the Jeunesse Arena alongside the playoffs will go live on 15^th September from 15:00 BRT (Brasilia Time).

• IEM Rio Major 2022: Fan Fest - 10^th to 13^th Nov

This is great for the Brazilian audience that wanted ESL to conduct the CS:GO Major at a larger venue after the initial tickets for the Champions Stage were sold out within 60 minutes.
