Talented North American rifler, Michael "Grim" Wince, bid an emotional farewell to Team Liquid yesterday on 12th January. The 21-year-old had been a part of the organization since August 2020, during which he helped them achieve victory in tournaments like cs_summit 8 and BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2021.

Grim's 16-month career with Liquid came to an end in December last year, as he was shifted to the team's inactive roster alongside Jacky "Stewie2K" Yip and Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo.

With the 2022 competitive season drawing close, Grim has finally parted ways with Liquid and is now a free agent. There has been no confirmed news about his future so far, but Grim has stated that he will be providing an update soon.

Grim delivers an emotional farewell speech on his way out of Team Liquid

Grim had been sitting on Liquid's bench for multiple weeks now, but yesterday the talented youngster finally made the move and parted ways with the organization. It was an emotional affair, especially for Grim who had been given his big break by Team Liquid in August 2020.

During his time with Liquid, Grim got an opportunity to play with multiple top-tier CS:GO players and readily made adjustments to his playstyle according to the team's requirements.

Team Liquid has been nothing but an amazing organization. The people over here have only treated me well and with respect. It definetly sucks to be leaving such an amazing organizaiton. I wish the team the absolute best going into the next year and I hope they face a lot of success. I would just like to say thanks to all my fans.

The trusted entry fragger concluded his message by requesting his fans to follow him wherever he goes next in the future, "Thank you again, it meant the world to me!"

Though there is no confirmed news about where he might be going next, Grim did mention in a personal statement that he would soon be coming forward with some news.

Personal statement by Grim after leaving Team Liquid

Grim might not have had the most lucrative outing with Liquid, but that does not take anything away from the potential and talent he possesses. There are still a lot of other North American organizations doing well within the local circuit and maybe there might be some space for him after all.
