Former NAVI player flamie is all set to compete in CS:GO once again with the Russian esports organization 1win.
Flamie will be returning to the competitive front as part of an organization after about four months at the upcoming ESL Challenger League Season 40 Europe.
He was last seen in action at the WePlay Academy League Season 2, where he was part of NAVI Junior.

Former Natus Vincere rifler, Egor "flamie" Vasilyev, has completely recharged his batteries as he returns to competitive CS:GO after more than three months with Russian esports organization 1win.

In April 2021, flamie was replaced by Valerii "b1t" Vakhovskyi on NAVI's active CS:GO lineup, a change that would prove to be crucial for the Ukrainian organization. Since being benched, flamie was stuck in a limbo as he continued to work on improving his performance but his position on the active roster had been lost.

He did get an opportunity to play alongside NAVI Junior during the WePlay Academy League (WAL) Season 2, his last tournament under the black and yellow jersey. Now, after a wait of more than three months he has finally been signed by a new CS:GO team and will be seen competing in the 2022 season.

The 24-year-old is ready to comeback and compete in CS:GO after being without an organization for about four months now. Flamie was last seen in action during the WAL Season 2 which took place in November last year, after which there had been a huge question mark about his career.

Flamie's farewell statement on leaving NAVI

With the 2022 season about to kick off, flamie has finally managed to find a new home for himself with the Russian esports organization 1win. He will be a part of what is shaping up to be a completely Russian roster, currently a player short of a full lineup.

  • Aleksandr "TRAVIS" Timkiv

  • Denis "deko" Zhukov

  • Aleksandr "glowiing" Matsiyevich - IGL

  • Egor "flamie" Vasilyev

  • Vadim "MSE" Zimin - Coach

1win's team manager, Artem "mouseTT" Karyagin on the team's official social media page on vk.com made the following statement,

Glad to have Egor (flamie) join our team! He is a world-class player who brings tremendous experience and top notch individual play to the team. We are looking forward to the CS:GO tournaments coming up in the near future!

1win kicked off its overhaul last week by benching both Vadim "Polt" Tsirov and Danil "Ravenlot" Bikvaidze, following a disappointing performance at ESESA Premier Europe Season 39.

Flamie was the first to book one of the two empty slots, as the team continues to scout and sign the final member for the team. The team will be complete before it debuts at the upcoming ESL Challenger League Season 40 Europe, scheduled to take place from 18th January to 3rd April.
