FalleN conveyed a touching farewell message on his way out of Team Liquid ahead of the 2022 competitive season.
As reported, FalleN might go on to assemble a Brazilian lineup for the 2022 season, a project that has been labeled as the 'Brazilian Last Dance'.
He also mentioned that both EliGE and NAF were among the best CS:GO players that North America has ever seen.

Counter-Strike veteran, Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo, bid his final farewell to Team Liquid yesterday on 13th December. The 30-year-old who is reportedly assembling a new Brazilian roster, delivered a heartfelt message on his way out of the North American organization.

Despite spending a volatile year with Liquid, FalleN contributed to the team's victory at cs_summit 8 and the BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2021, acting as both the primary AWPer and their shot caller from time to time.

However, with Liquid failing to win any significant tournaments and multiple underlying problems within the roster, the organization decided to undergo an overhaul ahead of the 2022 competitive season benching FalleN, Michael "Grim" Wince and Jacky "Stewie2K" in December.

FalleN is set to return back to Brazil and kick start his 2022 competitive journey with a CS:GO roster that is being informally labeled as the 'Brazilian Last Dance.'

FalleN's farewell statement on leaving Team Liquid

On his way out, the Brazilian star gave a heartfelt message to the organization and all its supporters.

Hey guys, FalleN here. My time at Team Liquid was nice! 2021 was very challenging for me, I mean it was challenging for everyone around the world, we had to deal with COVID, still dealing with it. For me personally it was very difficult to stay the whole time in Europe, I had some VISA problems as the Embassies were closed, but on the other hand, I was received very well in Europe. All the staff, everyone, from Team Liquid were so nice. The comfort that playing for Team Liquid brings to you as a player is insane, like the fact that I had an apartment to stay there while competing was amazing. Having a chance to play with international players once again was also very interesting to me. There was good and bad from it, as it is every single time you play as a team, but I had a lot of fun during the year. Sometimes it was stressful, however, I learned a lot about myself and about the things I have to develop going ahead.
Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo - Statement to Team Liquid

He went on to speak about his experience with various members of Team Liquid, calling them great players and people to be around. He specifically said that Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski and Keith "NAF" Markovic are among "the best players that North America has ever seen".

To the fans, FalleN said that he tried to give his best for Liquid and he was glad to have played for the organization, among a lot of other things.

With his chapter in North America coming to an end, FalleN might be close to assembling the highly speculated Brazilian roster which could be his final attempt at competing in CS:GO professionally, before potentially deciding to hang his boots.
