EliGE Reveals Current State of Liquid's CS:GO Roster, Their Internal Issues
Veteran Liquid member reveals the bold truth.
There have been a lot of reports and rumors surrounding Team Liquid's CS:GO roster for the 2022 competitive season. Many have even raised doubts with the team's current attitude towards the remaining tournaments like the ongoing BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021 and the upcoming IEM Winter 2021.
Laying these doubts to rest, veteran Liquid rifler Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, in a recent Twitch stream which aired on 20th November, confirmed that the team is about to make some changes.
Not only this, the 24-year-old even went on to say that, "The team is not really getting along. Internally, everyone is not getting along really well," in a statement to Pley.gg.
EliGE proceeded to reveal the reasons behind these internal issues that the team was facing and how it might impact their performance at the BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021, where they have already lost their opening bout against Team Vitality.
EliGE reveals the reason for the team's internal issues
Team Liquid has not had a good run this year, far from even being classified as mediocre. In total, Liquid has won two tournaments in 2021, cs_summit 8 and BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2021, both of them were not a top-tier event.
Obviously, some changes were knocking at Liquid's front door, more so after the team failed to make it out of the Legends Stage at the Stockholm Major 2021. On EliGE's 20th November Twitch stream, he confirmed these upcoming changes by publicly stating that:

Thereafter, in an interview with Pley, EliGE revealed that the team was not getting along really well and it wasn't him against other members of the team but internal problems. Providing reasons behind these internal issues he said that:
It's a lot of things. It is built up from a year with a lot of travel, that has been the biggest thing. And then a lot of uncertainty with the schedule and how we are going to fix things. When you don't fix things, that you say, that you are going to fix for a long time, it ends up causing problems in the future, and I think that everyone would get increasingly more upset about it, and that has been like my main things.Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski - Interview with Pley.gg
Apart from this, EliGE pointed out that Liquid's core does not work that well together as they don't have a good agreement on how how to approach the game and play it.
So far reports have come in pointing towards a huge overhaul with EliGE being the only player that remains on Liquid's roster. The very first report had pointed towards Jacky "Stewie2K" Yip and Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's departure from the team. Apart from this, another separate report suggested that even Keith "NAF" Markovic and Michael "Grim" Wince were likely on their way out of Liquid.
On the other hand, players that have been connected with Team Liquid's future CS:GO roster are the French veteran Richard "shox" Papillon who is reportedly in advanced discussions with the team, Brazilian rifler Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo who currently plays for FURIA Esports, and Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella who is reportedly making a comeback to competitive CS:GO.
