CS:GO Announces Winners of Dreams & Nightmares Art Contest, All Skins Revealed

Valve had announced the Dreams & Nightmares Workshop Art Contest earlier this year, on 22^nd July 2021, for all the CS:GO community artists. The contest originally offered a total prize of $1,000,000 USD which would have been split between 10 winning entries. However, the developer has ended up shortlisting 17 submissions out of more than 15,000 entries, increasing the total prize money to $1.7 Million USD.

The submission deadline for the contest was 21^st October 2021, giving all the creators a total of 91 days to come up with an idea and execute it. Today on 22^nd November (IST) the winners have been announced, and each of them shall be receiving $100,000 USD in prize money.

Valve will continue to work with the artists over the coming weeks before rolling out the weapon skins as part of the Dreams & Nightmares CS:GO Weapon Case.

Dreams & Nightmares Weapon Skin Contest: All 17 winning submissions

From over 15,000 entries, Valve has finally shortlisted the 17 weapon skins that will be a part of the upcoming Dreams & Nightmares CS:GO Weapon Case. The shortlisted submissions have been created by a total of 24 different artists, and 14 of them are first-time contributors to the workshop.

Valve is already working with the artists to roll out the skins into the game over the coming weeks. The shortlisted weapon skins that will feature in the case along with their rarity are as follows:

  G3SG1 - Created by Druida

  M4A1-S - Created by Madara and Blazer

  USP-S - Created by Supremat

• Military Spec

  Five-SeveN - Created by Anbu and Kasim.Tattoo

  SCAR-20 - Created by Guardian Gear

  MAG-7 - Created by Jerry and Zlo

All the 17 winning submissions will be awarded $100,000 USD each. As promised by Valve, all the creators have already been contacted and the final few steps are being worked upon before releasing these skins.

The developers had earlier stated that "The Dreams & Nightmares Content Contest is designed to help further support this community." However, the response it has received so far is barely lukewarm.
