It seems that the Copenhagen Flames (CPHF) CS:GO players are reportedly being signed by Complexity Gaming.
An earlier report has revealed that Copenhagen Flames was ready to discuss offers between $500,000 and $750,000 for its CS:GO team.
Multiple organizations had shown an interest in signing the Danish lineup, but Complexity turned out to be the top candidate.

The Danish CS:GO roster of Copenhagen Flames (CPHF) seems to have supposedly found a new home with North American esports organization Complexity Gaming. The deal is reportedly in the final stages of being finalized as all five players are currently negotiating on their individual contracts.

This news has surfaced exactly a month after Dexerto had reported that CPHF was ready to discuss offers between $500,000 and $750,000 for its CS:GO team.

Moreover, Complexity was not the only organization that showed interest in buying this lineup, multiple parties had approached CPHF but Complexity turned out to be the top candidates, as reported by Jaxon.

Complexity reportedly close in on buying Copenhagen Flames CS:GO lineup

The deal is supposedly in the final stages of completion as Complexity Gaming is reportedly in negotiations with the players for their individual contracts. Once finalized, the Danish lineup would start competing under the banner of Complexity, starting with the 2022 competitive season.

This decision comes following speculations that Complexity was initially interested in signing a CIS-based lineup, following a complete overhaul that witnessed the departure of all its former players and even the coach.

However, Complexity seems to have gone for the Danish lineup who put up a phenomenal performance at the recent PGL Major Stockholm 2021. CPHF started from the 'New Challengers Stage' and fought their way through to the 'New Legends Stage', finishing 9th-11th at the tournament.

They beat teams like Astralis, BIG, Heroic, Evil Geniuses, and FaZe Clan during their run, putting up strong fights against other Danish teams to show that they were amongst the top competitors from the region.

CPHF had received some offers from organizations to buy out the team even before their Major run, but their value has grown significantly since then.

There were also rumors about certain teams interested in purchasing a few players individually after their Major run, but those offers were refused as the CPHF players confirmed to stick together.

The following CPHF players are reportedly being signed by Complexity Gaming,

  • Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen

  • Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen

  • Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi

  • Rasmus "Zyphon" Nordfoss

  • Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard
