As per reports, Astralis might replace k0nfig in its active CS:GO roster due to an alleged fist fight in Malta.
K0nfig has responded to these reports, referring to them as rumors and hoping for his quick return to the team.
The alleged fist fight apparently took place following Astralis' elimination from the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16.

A week after Astralis had announced that Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke had suffered an ankle fracture, reports have surfaced claiming that the Danish esports organization is looking to remove the 25-year-old from its active CS:GO roster due to an alleged fist fight that took place in Malta.

According to Jaxon, k0nfig was supposedly involved in a quarrel which turned into a fist fight following the team's elimination from the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16, which concluded a week back on 18th September.

Since the report surfaced, k0nfig has come forward with a statement on the situation referring to everything as 'rumors', while adding that he is waiting to get back soon.

Report: K0nfig might be on his way out of Astralis following a fist fight in Malta

Shocking reports have taken the CS:GO community by surprise as k0nfig's future with Astralis might be at stake due to an alleged tussle involving fists, following the team's elimination from the ESL Pro League Season 16 in Malta, Europe.

This comes at a time when k0nfig is recovering from a fractured ankle due to which he will not be able to sit upright for an extended period over the next 10 to 14 days and will also be required to undergo a surgery.

Just a few days back on 21st September, k0nfig had said that he wanted to "use this unlucky period to restitute, find myself and come back with a stronger mindset and will power," but it seems that his future with the Danish CS:GO roster is reportedly not certain.

Astralis is also linked to an alleged deal with Ninjas In Pyjamas (NIP), where the former is seeking Nicolai "device" Reedtz while the latter is reportedly ready to sell him for a buyout price of €1,000,000 EUR.

With this new supposed twist coming into the picture, it remains to be seen if Astralis still replaces Asger "farlig" Jensen to make space for device or do they shift him to a new position and instead part ways with k0nfig.
