AMANEK to Reportedly Join LDLC and Return to CS:GO After Six Months
Finally back to competing again?!
French rifler and part-time AWPer François "AMANEK" Delaunay might finally be on his way to competitive CS:GO, after being placed on the inactive roster of G2 Esports for almost six months.
According to a report from 1pv.fr, the 28-year-old might join French esports organization LDLC. This means that he might not be returning to the top-tier scene right away, considering that LDLC currently holds the 157th rank on the HLTV world rankings.
That being said, this seems like a great way for AMANEK to start afresh and build himself up once again while also sharing his knowledge and experience with other newer and younger players on the team.
Report: AMANEK might leave G2 Esports and join the French CS:GO roster of LDLC
Since the last six months AMANEK has been warming the bench for G2 Esports, while being a handy utility figure for the side from time to time. He replaced Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen for few ESL Pro League 15 matches and replaced Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam as the coach during the playoffs of IEM Katowice 2022.
After spending more than three years with the Spanish esports organization, AMANEK might be on his way to reportedly join the French CS:GO roster of LDLC.
The current LDLC roster comprises of lesser-known, fairly inexperienced, and promising younger players. However, the lineup has been quite successful within the regional competitive circuit having performed really well in the last six months in various tournaments including:
La Coupe 2022 #1 - First
La Coupe 2022 #2 - Second
ESL Championnat National Spring 2022 - Top Four
With the addition of AMANEK, the team receives a great leader to impart experience while also helping them break the regional barriers and step into the international scene.
If the report turns out to be true the LDLC roster will look as follows,
François "AMANEK" Delaunay
Filip "Graviti" Brankovic
Remi "Diviiii" Alexandre
Ryan "Neityu" Aubry
Hugo "Brooxsy" Di Bono
Eythan "unshaark" Solomon
Arthur "Snobling" Benard - Trial
Matthieu "Razzmo" Mellot - Trial
Julien "Krav" Hernandez - Coach
Lambert "Lambert" Prigent - Coach
