CS:GO team list set for PGL Major Stockholm 2021
The PGL Major Stockholm 2021 had its own drama to deal with before the event was finally confirmed to take place in Sweden. Everyone from select Swedish ministers, influential Swedish esports athletes, and the CS:GO community itself was completely invested in ensuring the Major should take place, at Stockholm.
It did take some time and a lot of discussions, but finally the Swedish authorities accepted the proposition of hosting the tournament, making all the necessary arrangements for it to take place seamlessly.
With the Major back on track, taking place as originally intended, the organizers began the sale of tickets, announced the talent lineup for the event which came with its own set of community-wide debates, and even rolled out the complete schedule for the event.
Now all that was required were the names of 24 competing teams, which have now been finalized following the culmination of IEM Fall 2021, for all the regions. Here are the participants competing for the $2,000,000 USD prize pool.
