- FaZe Clan are reportedly planning on signing karrigan as their new IGL.
- Karrigan's two-year contract with mousesports is coming to an end on March 2021.
- As per reports coldzera had requested FaZe Clan to sign karrigan as their fifth permanent player.
FaZe Clan recently observed a huge change in their lineup as G2 Esports signed Nikola “NiKo” Kovac in what they claimed was 'one of the biggest signings in CS:GO history'. Though FaZe has managed to continue competing with Olof “olofmeister” Gustafsson stepping in temporarily to help the team out they are actively seeking a new IGL to lead them and as per reports, the North American organization is keen on signing Finn "karrigan" Andersen from mousesports.

FaZe Clan Reportedly Eyeing Karrigan
As per a report by The Clutch, FaZe Clan are keen on signing mousesports current in-game leader karrigan who has previously captained the side from Oct 2016 to December 2018 during which he led them to a victory at seven CS:GO tournaments.
It seems that the organization has turned towards karrigan upon Brazilian rifler Marcelo “coldzera” David’s request who is acting as the teams IGL in the absence of a permanent fifth player. He thinks that karrigan has all the qualities necessary to lead FaZe Clan and had informed the same to the board as soon as news about NiKo’s departure had surfaced.
Further information from DeKay suggests that Karrigan whose two-year contract with mousesports is set to expire in March 2021 would most likely be picked up by FaZe Clan at that point without having to pay any transfer fee. Having said that he concluded by stating that “It’s possible FaZe buy him, but not likely at this point just yet.”
The report further said that mousesports has already contacted karrigan in a bid to renew the contract, it will be interesting to see what Karrigan decided to do at this point as he has not been facing a lot of success with the organization.

Karrigan coming to FaZe might be followed by Olofmeister going inactive again to go back to his indefinite break that he had come out off to stand-in for the side or maybe even retire from Counter-Strike, this is something which has to be seen going forward if and when the news about Karrigan becomes concrete.
Mousesports had finished 2019 on a winning high as they won three consecutive CS:GO tournaments within a span of around 30 days but sadly they could not replicate the same success in 2020. Their performance this year has been bleak and despite making some changes success has not come their way.
If FaZe Clan signs Karrigan the lineup might look like this,
- Marcelo “coldzera” David
- Finn “karrigan” Andersen
- Helvijs “broky” Saukants
- Havard “rain” Nygaard
- Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjaerbye
- Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer [Back on break/Retire]
