A total of 120 players will be competing in the Antwerp Major (excluding coaches), as there are five players registered by each team and a total of 24 teams are set to compete at the Valve sponsored tournament.

Out of these, 39 players will be playing their first-ever CS:GO Major tournament in Antwerp. This means that 32.5% or more than a quarter of the participating players are Major debutants.

This goes on to show how the RMR (Regional Major Rankings) qualifiers have given an opportunity to lesser-known teams to qualify for the Major, and also how multiple teams have started to show their faith in young talented players.

Here are all the first-time CS:GO Major competitors that will be seen in action real soon,

A few teams like Liquid, Astralis, G2 Esports, BIG, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Eternal Fire, ENCE, and Team Spirit feature only one or two debutants, but there are entire lineups that will be playing their first-ever Major which speaks volumes about the amount of hard work they have put in to reach this far.

On the other hand, only three players now remain in the 'All Majors Club', Richard "shox" Papillon, Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, and Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth. It will be interesting to see if any of them manage to reach the playoffs stage of the tournament.

Xyp9x and Dupreeh continue to be a part of 'All Majors Club'

Another interesting thing to note here is that two of the youngest players at the Antwerp Major, Techno4K and m0NESY, are both fresh talents who will be playing in their biggest CS:GO tournament for the first time. A duel between the two will surely be a treat to watch.
