It looks like the rumoured NA based CS:GO league ‘B Site’ is on track to host its first edition of the tournament in March 2020, as ECS gives information about the talent lineup for the ‘new CS:GO League’.
According to the tweet, the following ensemble of talents will be a part of this yet unannounced tournament,
- Auguste “Semmler” Massonnat
- Sean “seangares” Gares
- Duncan “Thorin” Shields
- Christopher “MonteCristo” Mykles
- Freya Spiers
- Anders “Anders” Blume - Caster
- Jason “moses” O’Toole - Caster
- Daniel “ddk” Kapadia - Caster
- James “JZFB” Bardolph - Caster
Another thing which can be confirmed based on this announcement is that the above-listed talents will definitely not be be a part of ESL Pro League, as the two tournaments will be running into each other’s schedule taking place at the same time.
With ESL trying to lock down teams by making them sign what is being referred to as the ‘Lanxess Agreement’, whose terms seem to be going against Valve’s guidelines on ‘exclusivity’, B Site seems to be roping in some of the best talents out there.
The lineup of talents will see MonteCristo and Semmler join the regular CS:GO talents after the two announced their departure from the Overwatch League. While the former will be juggling between being an ‘on-camera talent’ and ‘assisting with the creative direction and production’, it is tough to say what Semmler will be up to.
Before leaving for Overwatch League he used to cast CS:GO with Anders, who has since paired up with moses. And as Semmler will be the Desk Host at the BLAST Premier Spring Series may be the same role will be given to him here as well.
As for the other talents, they will be taking on their regular roles which we have seen them in a lot of previous tournaments. With two of the three big leagues having announced their talent lineup, let’s see what talents can ESL rope in for the upcoming Pro League.
