PUBG Mobile Celebrates Incredible India For Independence Day
The last few months have been packed with events and tournaments for PUBG Mobile. The recently concluded PMWL will now give way to the various PMCOs happening across different regions. For the month of August, PUBG Mobile has a lot in store for its Indian player base including the Incredible India event in celebration of India’s 74th Independence Day as well as other themed contests and outfits.
Incredible India: 10th to 24th August
During the Incredible India event, players can finish three daily missions to win PUBG Mobile Flips. Players can also answer 3 daily quiz questions related to interesting facts about Incredible India to win Flips. These Flips can be used to play ‘Flip, Match and Win’, a sort of memory game. If the cards don't match, they are flipped back to their original state. When a player matches two consecutive cards, they get corresponding rewards. Additionally, PUBG Mobile has also unveiled new wallpapers of India’s iconic monuments in honour of India’s 74th Independence Day for the Incredible India event. These include beautiful sites across the country like Dal Lake, Red Fort, Taj Mahal, Victoria Memorial, Charminar, Chennai Central, Mysore Palace, Gateway of India and Hawa Mahal.
Along with the Incredible India event, PUBG Mobile will also feature events for the second half of August and early September such as Fabulous Journey Classic Mode, Fabulous Journey TDM Mode and Exciting Giveaways.
The Fabulous Journey Classic Mode will be available from 20th August to 2nd September. Players will get a chance to play PUBG Mobile's Classic Mode and complete missions to win rewards. The Fabulous Journey Team DeathMatch Mode will start on 25th August and run till 3rd September. Players will have to play TDM matches and complete daily missions to earn rewards. However, it is noted that players will be rewarded based on the matches they play. Rewards include the Hand of Duat set and headgear as well as coupon crates. The Fabulous Exciting Giveaways is from 27th August to 2nd September. This event also offers players free rewards for spending UC in-game. The rewards include the Anarkali Set, AG, Classic Coupon crates and more.
India is currently one of the biggest markets for PUBG Mobile. Tencent has recognized this and has been delivering content aimed at Indian audiences as well as providing the region with more opportunities like the inclusion of more slots in PMWL East for South Asia, among other such initiatives. The Indian government has banned 59 Chinese apps and drawn up a list of 275 Chinese apps to examine for any violation of national security and user privacy, including PUBG Mobile due to tensions over a border dispute. However, Tencent is seeking to continue their support for India-oriented content with Incredible India and continuing its commitment to its Indian playerbase.
