PUBG Mobile Added To Red Bull M.E.O. Season 3 In India

The Red Bull Mobile Esports Open Season 3 (M.E.O.) is an open-for-all tournament held between 29th May 2020 and 14th February 2021. Players from more than 20 countries are eligible to compete in three different mobile esports titles including PUBG Mobile, Teamfight Tactics Mobile and Hearthstone. Strategy card game Hearthstone returns to the tournament from Season 2 and PUBG Mobile is joining the Red Bull M.E.O. Season 3 roster of titles for the first time. This season, the tournament will be adding new regions including India to its PUBG Mobile Qualifiers. Red Bull M.E.O. Season 3 in India starts with qualifiers from 12th August 2020.

There are three stages of Red Bull M.E.O. Season 3: National Qualifiers, National Finals & World Finals. International Online Qualifiers will be held leading into the World Finals in Turkey during the first quarter of 2021

PUBG Mobile India Qualifiers for Red Bull M.E.O. Season 3

The top team from each lobby of this Qualifier will earn a spot in the Semi-Finals. Top 16 teams from the Semi-Finals will compete in the National Finals, where they have the chance to become their nation’s representatives at the Red Bull M.E.O. Season 3 World Finals. The Qualifiers will be held on 12th, 15th, 19th, 22th, 25th, and 29th August as well as September 2nd and 5th. Semi-Finals will happen on 9th September and Finals will happen on 12th September. The winners from each lobby for all the qualifiers will get invites for the Semi-Finals. Top 32 teams participate in the Semi-Finals and we get Top 16 Team for the National Finals.

The minimum requirements are standard. Participants have to be a minimum of 16 years old and must be residents of the country of the qualifier. Each lobby will play 6 matches with up to 25 teams per lobby. In case of more than one lobby, teams will be split up as much as possible to accommodate 16 teams per lobby. Teams will receive points based on their finish and the number of kills achieved in each match and standard placement points format.

  • Match 6 - Vikendi

As an open for all tournament, players of Red Bull M.E.O. Season 3 have a unique chance to compete against top mobile esports athletes and other well-known players in the scene. The registration for the first India Qualifiers to be held on 12th August are closed. However, registrations for the second, third and fourth Qualifiers are still open.
