While other games of the similar genre, like PUBG Mobile and Fortnite, regularly organise esports tournaments, Free Fire has also been organising several tournaments in the recent past, including the recently concluded Free Fire Brawler Bash. Now, Free Fire is bringing you another open-to-all tournament called the Free Fire India Championship where teams will compete for the title of the best Free Fire team on the Indian server and will fight for a prize pool worth a whopping Rs 50,00,000.

Free Fire India Championship 2020 Tournament Details

The Free Fire India Championship will be held on 16th August from 4 PM to 9 PM IST and select the qualified teams. Registrations for begin on the 13th of August (in-game) and the FFIC qualifier matches will go live on the 16th of August. The qualifiers can be played only with a registered squad, and no unregistered players will be allowed to participate. Regular players, who don’t have a background in esports, can also participate with their squad by registering themselves. It is open to all players playing on the Indian server. The Free Fire India Championship 2020 (FALL) will be one of the biggest Free Fire esports tournaments in India.

Garena will be organising the Free Fire India Championship and it will be sponsored by Paytm First Games. Paytm First Games seems to want to make a big splash in the mobile esports scene as they have been recently sponsoring multiple tournaments. Earlier in June, a new open-to-all tournament called 'Free Fire Brawler Bash' was organised for all Free Fire enthusiasts. After multiple rounds of Qualifiers, Knockouts, and Semi-Finals, The Mafias won the title with the highest points and took home 150,000 Free Fire diamonds.  An Invitational tournament called 'FFBB Final Clash' was also held during the same period. The Free Fire community has recently witnessed a lot of action-packed livestreams like the Clash Squad Invitational Showdown.
