Over the years, PUBG MOBILE has become a national sensation in India. From cricket players making it their past time to top actors trying to pick up Chicken Dinners, the game’s popularity has made professionals and content creators country-wide celebrities such as Sc0utOP and Ghatak. As their fame continues to grow, PUBG MOBILE has decided to give these players greater opportunities.
PUBG MOBILE had announced a ‘PUBG MOBILE Global Ultimate Team Selection’ concept on 24th June. The format was simple - you enter the game, navigate to the ‘Ultimate Team Selection’ tab, and vote for your favourite streamers like Dynamo, pro players like Sc0utOP, or influencers like Kronten by giving them a rose which can be collected by completing Activity Missions and amount to 20 points. The voting went on till 16th July.
Selection Process for MortaL and Sc0utOP
Indian players SouL ReGaLToS, MortaL, Fnatic’s Sc0utOP, TSM Entity’s JONATHAN, and Nova GodLike’s Kronten were among the candidates’ players could vote for. We now know that India’s much-loved SouL MortaL and Fnatic Sc0utOP have come out on top through the voting process and will captain the Indian squads.
MortaL has achieved a lot throughout his career, winning PUBG MOBILE India Series and PUBG MOBILE Club Open - Spring Split: India in 2019. His last tournament certainly didn’t go as planned as SouL failed to perform well in the PUBG MOBILE Pro League - Spring Split 2020: South Asia Finals. The team came in 13th place and eventually did not qualify for the prestigious PUBG MOBILE World League East. A win at PUBG MOBILE Global Extreme Challenge would certainly lift MortaL’s career and spirits to new heights.
Sc0utOP is currently in form. A professional player and streamer, Sc0utOP is known for his firebrand nature on YouTube. His career has taken off once more, giving us a glimpse of his time on Team IND when he rose to become a national icon. While his time with Fnatic has been full of bumps, his substitution into Orange Rock has seen amazing results as he came 5th in kills in the Opening Weekend, 1st in Week 1 Day 1 of League Play, and has brought his team to the top position on the leaderboard at the end of Week 1 Day 2.
