PUBG Mobile keeps bringing new updates to the game, looking to balance it and improve overall player experience. These balance changes affect several things, including optimal weapon selection. Today we’re looking at the top weapons to go for in Patch 0.19.0 in PUBG Mobile. Since Patch 0.15.0, there haven’t been many changes to the weapons themselves, but the meta has evolved, resulting in certain guns becoming more OP.

MK14 is currently one of the top weapons in the game. The gun is versatile and accurate. For mid or long-range, it has one of the highest bullet velocity and lowest bullet drop amongst all DMRs in PUBG Mobile. While the recoil is high, the MK14 has bipod stand which lets you prone and spray with deadly accuracy. It takes 0.18 seconds time to clear a Level 2 vest which is better than that of the Groza, Uzi or other weapons of its class. These features make it one of the most powerful non-sniper weapons in the game.

AWM

AWM is the most powerful and rarest of rifles (only found in supply drops) in the game, rewarding a high risk, high reward playstyle. Inflicting high base damage and 264 headshot damage, this is one of the top weapons in PUBG Mobile. It can one-shot a Level 1 vest and as one of the most accurate sniper rifles in the game, the AWM’s recoil and bullet recovery is one of the best.

M249

The M249 has a large 100 round clip of 5.56 ammo which can shred through squads and vehicles. It has 43.9 base damage and can clear a Level 2 vest pretty quickly, rivalling the Groza. This gun makes it easy to pick up kills at a close and medium range. Spray and pray is the name of the game with this top weapon in PUBG Mobile.

Groza

The Groza uses the 7.62mm ammo type and does 47.9 base damage with bullet speeds of 714 m/s. Groza is similar to the AKM in terms of damage but its higher firing rate makes it a top weapon for close combat. The reload time is slightly longer than other ARs and many players complain about its recoil but with a little practice, it can be controlled. The Groza is an all-round top weapon in PUBG Mobile.
