  • B8 have parted ways with their three Brazilian players - carry "RdO", offlaner "Sexyfat", and position five "Duster."
  • RdO has now assembled a new team with Funn1k that will be playing under the EU organization, Level Up. The three other players of the team are LeBronDota, dnz and No!ob.
  • Level Up will be competing in the EU 2021 DPC Season 2: Lower Division, likely taking up the place of Spider Pigzs who disbanded on February 24, 2021.

RdO has left the CIS Dota 2 organization of B8 Esports and teamed up with former Natus Vincere and XactJlepbI player, Funn1k. Leonardo "RdO'' Fernandes and Gleb "Funn1k" Lipatnikov’s new squad, which includes three former Spider Pigzs members, will be playing for the European organization, Level Up. The Brazilian carry player made this revelation through a Twitlonger after B8 announced earlier today, on March 16, 2021, that they had parted ways with their three Brazilian players that include Diego "Sexyfat'' Barini Santamaria, Heitor "Duster" Pereira, and RdO. As a result of this roster change, B8 is now left down to just two players.

RdO, Sexyfat and Duster leave B8 Esports

The CIS Dota 2 organization announced the departure of their carry, offlaner, and position five players through a Twitter post, stating that they were “grateful to the guys for their contribution to the team's development and the path they traveled with us.” While wishing the departing players the best in their future endeavors, B8 also stated that they would make more announcements soon.

B8’s updated roster:

  1. TBD
  2. Danil "Dendi" Ishutin
  3. TBD
  4. Sergey "[T]SA" Timchenko
  5. TBD

After a tough time in the CIS 2021 DPC Season 1: Lower Division, where they finished last and got knocked out, it was already being reported that the three Brazilian players would leave the B8 Esports team.

The three Brazilians had only joined the team in January 2021, but their career with the CIS organization has proven to be short-lived. While the carry player has found a new home in Level Up, Sexyfat and Duster are yet to announce their new ventures.

RdO and Funn1k put together a new team

RdO revealed in the Twitlonger that the three Brazilian players had left B8’s roster because of “several reasons” that he did not elaborate upon. They had then thought of assembling a new team back in Brazil. However, he got a proposal from former Spider Pigzs’ captain Nikola "LeBronDota" Popović to put together a new team in Serbia which he agreed to.

Level Up’s new roster:

  1. Leonardo "RdO" Fernandes
  2. Tony "No!ob" Assaf
  3. Gleb "Funn1k" Lipatnikov
  4. Dino "dnz" Šavuk
  5. Nikola "LeBronDota" Popović
