  • B8's carry player, RdO, has reportedly left the organization and is now searching for new Dota 2 team.
  • RdO had joined B8's roster before CIS DPC League along with fellow Midas Club teammates, SexyFat, Duster and coach, Astini but the team finished last in the Lower Division of the league.
  • B8 is currently competing in the Snow Sweet Snow #2 tournament.

RdO has parted ways with the CIS Dota 2 organization of B8 Esports. According to a report by CIS portal, cybersport.metaratings.ru, Brazilian player Leonardo "RdO" Fernandes, has left as the carry player of the team and is now looking for a new Dota 2 team. B8 is currently participating in the Snow Sweet Snow #2 and has already played with a couple of stand-in replacements for RdO in the tournament. The carry’s departure marks yet another roster change for B8, who have had a high amount of roster instability in the past year. However, the organization has not issued a statement confirming the exit of their carry player from the team’s roster.

RdO has reportedly left B8 Esports’ roster

RdO’s departure from the squad now means that only two Brazilians now remain on the roster of B8 - Sexyfat and Duster. While Russian player, Sergey "[T]SA" Timchenko, has been playing for the team since January 2021 and has been listed as an official player of the team on Valve’s Majors Registration page, the organization is yet to confirm his official addition to the position four role.

This is how the roster looks like after RdO’s exit:

  1. TBD
  2. Danil "Dendi" Ishutin
  3. Diego "Sexyfat" Barini
  4. Sergey "[T]SA" Timchenko (stand-in)
  5. Heitor "Duster" Pereira

RdO had joined the roster of B8 on January 2, 2021, along with fellow Midas Club teammates, SexyFat, Duster and coach, Astini. The team qualified for the CIS 2021 DPC Season 1: Lower Division, where they, unfortunately, had a tough time, finishing in the last position and getting knocked out.

Before their DPC campaign had begun, position four player, 5up, left the team while later, during the DPC, coach, Astini departed from the team to return to Brazil to spend time with his family.

In their last couple of matches in the Snow Sweet Snow #2 tournament, B8 has competed with Kazakhstani stand-in carry player, Aybek "Naive-" Tokayev. Previously, they also played with Serbian player, Duško "BoraNija" Boranijaševic, in place for RdO. It will be interesting to see if they recruit any of these two players permanently.
