Execration and Vice Esports, two popular Filipino esports organizations, have made changes to their rosters after a disappointing result at the SEA 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division. As per the information available on Valve’s Majors Registration page: Vice Esports’ carry - Jinn Marrey "Palos" Lamatao, has left the team, while Execration's midlaner - Argle "Ken" Llesis and offlaner - Glenard Lei "Rupido" Rugay, have parted ways with their organization. Valve’s Majors Registration Page Roster changes: Nando added to Execration while Rupido and Ken Leave
Execration finished the SEA 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division at the sixth spot as they barely avoided relegation to the Lower Division. An underwhelming performance in the tournament has seemingly forced the Filipino team to make these sizable roster changes.
Ken departs - Ken is a talented 17-year-old midlaner who started his Dota 2 professional career with Execration in July 2020. Ken’s notable achievements include a championship title at the World Esports Elite Competition, a second-place finish at the Moon Studio Asian League and the OMEGA League: Asia Divine Division.
Rupido departs - Another young offlane player from the Philippines, Rupido’s first major professional Dota 2 team was also Execration. He joined the team in December 2020 and has unfortunately been only able to stick with them for three months.
Nando returns - A veteran carry player from the Philippines, Nando has already played for Execration before. Similar to the two players who are leaving, Nando’s first significant Dota 2 team was also Execration when he joined them in 2015. However, his most prosperous time with the organization came in 2017-18 when Execration played at TI7 and ESL One Genting 2017.
Nando had also played as a stand-in, replacing Ken in Execration’s last series in the SEA 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division against 496 Gaming.
Valve’s Majors Registration Page Roster changes: Palos Leaves Vice Esports
Vice Esports did not have a successful time in the SEA 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division as they came last and will now be playing in the Lower Division in the next season. Carry player, Palos, now gets removed as per the Majors Registration page after being a part of the team for nearly four months. He has previously played for teams like Sterling Global Dragons and Execration.
