monkeys-forever Kicked From 4 Zoomers

monkeys-forever announced his removal from the squad through his stream. He stated that though he had been kicked from the team, there were no hard feelings between him and the players. He asked his fans to continue supporting and cheering for 4 Zoomers as they were a great bunch of guys.

Adding to his statement, monkeys-forever indicated at his future plans. He will be taking a break from the competitive scene until LAN events resume. He will be focusing a lot more on streaming for the time being and at the end, monkeys-forever thanked his supporters for all their love over the nine months with 4 Zoomers.

monkeys-forever’s departure from the squad comes after a couple of disappointing tournament performances. While the team has almost always managed to secure top 3 finish since their inception in March 2020, they ended the last two tournaments at the 5-6th and a 7-8th place. This dispiriting performance can, perhaps, be attributed to monkeys-forever’s removal from the team.

4 Zoomers Down To Four Players After Kick

monkeys-forever’s desire to take a break from the professional scene is not the recent one in NA Dota 2. Yesterday, after Aui_2000 and KheZu’s decision to take time off competitive Dota 2, their team catJAMMERS also disbanded citing the same reason. Earlier in September, TI5 champion and NA legend, Fear had decided to take a break from playing professionally, citing the delay in the resumption of DPC 2020-21.

4 Zoomers Current Roster:

  1. Samuel "Sammyboy" Anderson
  2. Niko "Gunnar" Lopez
  3. TBD
  4. Jacob "Oceania" Gosen
  5. Jacob "Husky" Fific

4 Zoomers’ decision to remove monkeys-forever also comes ahead of Realms Collide S2 which is set to begin tonight with the finest NA and SA teams in the region. 4 Zoomers’ first match is scheduled for November 13 against Infinity Esports and so, it will be interesting to see if they add a new offlane player to the team or go ahead with a stand-in.
