  • Ramzes might be returning to its old team Virtus.Pro after playing for EG for an year
  • AfterLife and ILTW to join Na’Vi on a trial phase as per reports
  • Team Spirit reportedly picking up Miposhka and so bad

We are in the midst of the greatest roster shuffles of all time and each day is bringing some spicy changes. In what will probably be the biggest CIS shuffle in recent times, Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev might be returning to his former team Virtus.Pro. Ramzes left Virtus.Pro in late 2019 after enjoying substantial success with the team for nearly 3 years.

Ramzes back to Virtus.Pro?

Evil Geniuses signed Ramzes, in a very surprising move to many, in September 2019. A Russian player in the North American region was a very odd combo to most Dota 2 fans. After the pandemic halted LAN tournaments, we have not seen the full EG squad in action because of ping disparities among regions. Filipino player, Abed Azel L. Yusop has not been able to play with the team since then and Ramzes was only able to play with the team in the recently concluded OMEGA League: Europe Immortal Division. Now, as per reports from cyber.sports.ru and metaratings.ru, Ramzes will join the old Virtus.pro roster under the leadership of Alexey "Solo" Berezin. If this is the case, Ramzes will be replacing Igor “iLTW” Filatov, who has been standing in for the team since April 2020.

Rumours: Ramzes Might Be Rejoining Virtus.Pro

Alleged Virtus.Pro Final Roster:

  1. Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev

  2. Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko

  3. Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok

  4. Bakyt “Zayac” Emilzhanov

  5. Alexey “Solo” Berezin

Speculations regarding the rosters of VP.Prodigy, Na’Vi and Team Spirit

VP.Prodigy, was initially reported to be signing  Na’Vi linchpin Illias “illias” Ganeev and Gambit Esports mid-laner Danil “gpk” Skutin in place of Albert "eine" Garaev and Rostislav “fn” Lozovoi respectively. However, Na’Vi’s latest roster changes makes illias an unlikely prospect for VP Prodigy.

As per Metaratings.ru, fn and eine have already left the squad. If these reports emerge out true, VP.Prodigy will have the most promising young talent in the form of gpk and epileptick1d.

Na’Vi, after releasing three of their players, is reportedly acquiring Vasily "AfterLife" Shishkin, or coach Anatoly "boolk" Ivanov and carry Igor "iLTW" Filatov” as per the CIS Portal for their next tournament, ESL One Germany 2020. In all likelihood, they will be under a tryouts phase with Na’Vi considering the fact that COO Aleksey “xaoc” Kucherov recently stated that the new team will build step-by-step.

The former manager of HellRaisers Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov is also reportedly assembling a new roster for Team Spirit with “Miposhka” Naidyonov and Vitaly “so bad” Oshmankevich. Both these players are competing in the ESL One Germany 2020 - Open Qualifier #1 under the banner of Yellow Submarines. Team Spirit has only 3 active members in its current roster but the team has inoperative since May 2020 with its players mostly standing in for other teams.

ESL Germany 2020 will likely spill the beans regarding the final rosters as most of these teams are playing in that tournament.
