Artstyle Returns To Virtus.Pro

TI1 Champion and celebrated coach, Ivan "Artstyle" Antonov has returned to Virtus.Pro as their coach. Artstyle is one of the most respected coaches in the CIS Dota 2 scene and had previously heralded an unprecedented era of success for Virtus Pro. So fans of the team understandably excited about this new development.

Artstyle Returns To Virtus.Pro

Virtus.Pro announced that Artstyle had returned to the team on their official website and social media handles today.

Speaking about his return, Artstyle commented that he expects to win a lot of trophies in the upcoming days.

“Over the course of the last 2 years I’ve gained a lot of experience in Dota 2. Thank you for your constant support throughout that period of time, it means a lot! We’ve got more trophies ahead of us!”

Virtus.pro’s general manager, Sergey Glamazda, acknowledged that Artstyle had taken the previous iteration of Virtus.Pro to “an incredible level” and that he will be able to replicate it again.

“Glad to welcome Ivan in our club! He already helped the team to reach an incredible level in the past and we are sure that his experience and understanding of the game will allow us to improve once again.”

  • Soft Support: Bakyt "Zayac" Emilzhanov

  • Coach: Ivan "Artstyle" Antonov

Previously, ArtStyle was the coach of Virtus.pro from March 2017 to September 2018. In his tenure as a coach, the team won four DPC Majors:

  • ESL One Hamburg 2017
  • ESL One Katowice 2018
  • The Bucharest Major
  • ESL One Birmingham 2018

The team also managed to secure a 5th-6th place finish at The International 7 and The International 8. After his departure, he was replaced by Russian coach Arseniy "ArsZeeqq" Usov.
