The Virtus.Pro Dota 2 team was featured in an episode of a Russian Animated Series called ‘?????? ???’ or ‘Dr. Psi’ airing on the 2×2 TV channel in CIS countries. The channel predominantly airs animated TV series.

In the second episode of the second season of this Dr.Psi show, the Virtus.Pro Dota 2 team makes an appearance albeit inside a Dota 2 game, which was animated.

What is actually happening in this video?

‘Dr. Psi’ is a series about a Psychology professor at the University of the fictional city Mezhduzhsk. The show features him, other department staff and his students treat mentally ill people.

In the episode with Virtus.pro, one of the patients suffers from gambling addiction and lost all his money in a local betting company. To save the patient, the doctor decides to bankrupt the said company betting an unnaturally large amount of money on a Dota 2 match between an underdog team and Virtus.Pro.

Since the underdogs had no chance to defeat Virtus.pro, Dr.Psi decides to even the odds. During the match, he arranged a DDoS attack, added a Divine Rapier to the inventory of the underdogs by hacking, but it didn't help either.

However, in a last-ditch effort, he hacks into to the VP players' chat and wrote GG just before the throne of the underdogs fell, which made Dota 2 count the match as a Virtus.pro defeat bankrupting the company and curing his patient's addiction.

Virtus.Pro and their Dota 2 team have become mainstream celebrities in Russia with Ramzes666 being featured in multiple Head and Shoulders ads and Solo being featured on the most popular late-night talk show on Russian television.
