Speculations about the legendary Na’Vi CS 1.6 lineup coming together to play in a showmatch turn into a reality, as FASTCUP announces the match between the massively successful roster and a Ukrainian stream team on 11th May.

The Na’Vi CS 1.6 lineup consisting of Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko, Ioann “Edward” Sukhariev, Yegor “markeloff” Markelov, Arsenij “ceh9” Trynozhenko, and Serhii “starix” Ishchhuk, which was one of the most dominant teams during the 1.6 era, will go up against the Ukrainian stream team consisting of Stefan "1mpala" Ailazyan, Vadim "Evelone" Kozakov, Maksim "QRUSH" Ilyushin, Dima "Buster" Smirnov and Erik "Shoke" Shokov.

The showmatch which is scheduled to take place on 11th May from 16:00 CEST/19:30 IST/10:00 ET onwards will consist of one best-of-five series against a Ukrainian stream team, which is made up of local CS:GO streamers and personalities. The prize pool for the event has not been fixed yet, as members who wish to support the showmatch can visit mycsgo.cc to increase the total prize amount by opening special cases.

The special case which is up for grabs on the website contains the following items,

The showmatch will be stream lived on FASTNET’s Twitch channel, with BETS.Net and CSGO.NET sponsoring the event.

It looks as if ceh9 was able to successfully arrange the showmatch and the date provided by Zeus was also accurate, though there is no clarity whether the money raised through the showmatch will be donated towards a good cause or not.

One thing which is personally quite disappointing is the showmatch not taking place against the current Na’Vi lineup, which would have been an even better treat for everyone. Still, watching this lineup from 2010 play together once again is quite exciting and definitely more than anything else that one could have asked for, during these dull times.
