The Wild Rift: Summoner Series will last from July until September 2021

Riot Games, in partnership with esports organizers Nerd Street and Wisdom Gaming, has officially announced the Wild Rift: Summoner Series for the North American region. The Wild Rift: Summoner Series boasts a prize pool of $50,000 USD and will have three esports circuits. Each esports circuit will have two open qualifiers leading to a Major where players will compete for the $5,000 USD grand prize and a slot to the regional championship. The tournament will last from July until September 2021. More details regarding the upcoming Wild Rift: Summoner Series for the NA region can be found below.

Wild RIft: Summoner Series Details

The official Wild Rift esports circuit for North America will start with the open qualifiers containing 32 teams competing in a BO3 format. The top eight teams from the qualifiers will proceed to the Major tournament where they will compete for the $5,000 USD grand prize and secure a spot in the championship finals.

There will also be the last chance qualifier where teams who lost in the open qualifiers will compete in a BO3 format for another chance to grab a slot in the regional championship.

The eight teams who qualified for the regional championship will now compete for the title of North American Champions and a lion’s share of the $35,000 USD prize pool.

Here are the schedule and breakdown of each esports circuit for the Wild Rift: Summoner Series;

First Circuit

  • 26th - 27th July (5 PM EST): Open Qualifier #1 (Top 4 teams Qualify into Major 1)

  • 2nd - 3rd August (5 PM EST): Open Qualifier #2 (Top 4 teams Qualify into Major 1)

  • 7th - 8th August (Time is TBA): Major 1 (Top 4 teams Qualify into Major 2)

Second Circuit

  • 16th-17th August (5 PM EST)t: Open Qualifier #1 (Top 2 teams Qualify into Major 2)

  • 23rd - 24th August (5 PM EST): Open Qualifier #2 (Top 2 teams Qualify into Major 2)

  • 28th - 29th August (Time is TBA): Major 2 (Top 2 teams Qualify into Champs while Teams Ranked 3rd-6th Qualify into Major 3)

Third Circuit

  • 6th - 7th September (5 PM EST)r: Qualifier #1 (Top 2 teams Qualify into Major 3)

  • 13th - 14th (5 PM EST): Qualifier #2 (Top 2 teams Qualify into Major 3)

  • 18th - 19th (Time is TBA): Major 3 (Top 4 teams Qualify into Champs)

Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ)

  • 1st - 3rd October (Time is TBA): LCQ (Top 2 teams Qualify into Champs)

NA Regional Championship

  • The schedule is TBD (8 Qualified Teams)

  • $35,000 Prize Pot
