The upcoming champions for League of Legends: Wild Rift Patch 4.1 have been leaked by data miners. The major patch update will feature two new champions from the Zaun region. One champion is classified as a fighter type while the other is a marksman champion. The exact release date for the upcoming champions is yet to be revealed. However, the major patch update is set to be released in March. For now, fans can expect up to two more patch updates during the Patch 4.0 cycle before the next major update.
New champions leaked for Wild Rift Patch 4.1 update
According to a video from data miner ChowZ, the two champions - Urgot and Twitch may be arriving in Wild Rift sometime during Patch 4.1.
Urgot, the Dreadnought
Urgot is a fighter type that specializes in chasing down enemies and executing them if they are below a certain health threshold. Aside from being a damage dealer, the champion can also be quite durable, allowing him to dash to enemies and soak up damage.
Urgot originated from Noxus but was sent to Zaun where he was captured by Chem-Barons and turned into a monster.
Twitch, the Plague Rat
Twitch is a marksman champion that can deal continuous damage with his poisonous basic attacks and abilities. On top of his deadly damage potential, he can also activate stealth and sneak out and into team fights with ease.
What is the Wild Rift Patch 4.1 release date?
The Wild Rift Patch 4.1 update is set to be released on 16th March 2023, according to Riot Games’ official patch release schedule.
It will take a while before the next major update arrives in Wild Rift. The game is still in the Patch 4.0a update which delivered interesting new mechanics such as Base Burning and Inhibitor Respawn. It will be interesting to see what new content fans can see in upcoming updates.
