Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022 Group Stage Teams Revealed
The League of Legends: Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022 Play-ins Stage has officially concluded. The top two teams from each play-in group shall be seeded to the four groups in the main event. Teams who did not qualify for the next phase of the world series event shall take home $10,000 USD each. The qualified teams shall face the Group Stage teams on 21st June to compete for the first world championship title and the lion’s share of the $2 million USD prize pool along with addition prize for the top 8 teams of the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022.

Latin America - Leviatán
China - Nova Esports (Play-ins Qualified)
South Korea - T1 (Play-ins Qualified)

Europe - Team Queso
China - J Team (Play-ins Qualified)
Philippines - Rex Regum Qeon (Play-ins Qualified)

Group Stage Format
Matches will officially start on 21st June and will feature five days of action-packed matches. The format is similar to the Play-ins stage with slight alterations.
Each region champion will be placed directly at this stage

All matches are played in a Bo3
Top 2 teams from each group advances to Knockout Stage
The eight teams who qualify for the Knockout Stage shall receive an equal share of the bonus prize money from the 25% of the Majestic Empress Morgana skin sales in Wild Rift.
Fans can watch the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022 through the official Wild Rift Esports Twitch and YouTube channels. Live broadcasts for local languages for the Philippines, Indonesia, South Korea, and Japan will also be hosted through their official streaming handles.
