The League of Legends: Wild Rift Champions Southeast Asia (WCS) 2022 Finals will kick off on 23rd April and will last until 8th May. The playoffs stage will feature 11 teams competing for the championship title and the lion’s share of the $200,000 USD prize pool. The top four teams from the WCS 2022 Finals will also be seeded into the pinnacle of Wild Rift competitions, the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022. The crowned champion from the South East Asia (SEA) tournament will receive a direct invite to the group stage of the world series while the remaining three teams will compete in the play-ins.
Tournament Format
The WCS 2022 Finals shall have three phases;
Play-ins Stage
The play-ins will be held on 23rd April and will be a two-day tournament where the second-placed teams from various regional leagues will compete for points to secure a slot in the playoffs. Matches will be played in a Single Round-Robin BO2 series.
Teams who secure a 2-0 victory will earn 3 points
If the match ends with a draw, both teams will earn 1 point.
A team that loses 0-2 will not earn any points.
The top-performing team from the play-ins will proceed to the playoffs. The runner-up and third-place teams will compete for the final playoffs spot.
Playoffs Stage
The playoffs will start on 26th April. The eight participating teams will be divided into two pools. Teams from the first pool shall compete with the teams from the second pool. Matches will be played through a double-elimination BO5 series.
Grand Finals
The Lower Bracket Finals and Grand Finals shall be played in a BO7 series. The top four teams in the tournament shall be seeded into the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022.

Fans can tune in to the action through the official streaming platforms of Wild Rift esports based on their preferred language. The first game will start at 2:00 PM (GMT+8) on 23rd April.
