The WCK 2022 Playoffs stage is set to kick off on 16th April.
The top three teams from the playoffs stage will earn a ticket to the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022.
The champion in the WCK 2022 will head to the Wild Rift world series' group stage while the second and third-placed teams will head to the play-ins.

The playoffs stage of the League of Legends: Wild Rift Champions Korea (WCK) 2022 is set to be held on 16th April with the grand finals set to commence on 24th April. With the conclusion of the group stage, the remaining four teams will be competing for the championship title and the lion’s share of the $84,000 USD prize pool. The top three teams from the WCK 2022 Playoffs will earn a ticket to the prestigious Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022. The crowned champions will proceed to the group stage of the world series event while the second and third-placed teams will head to the play-ins.

Playoffs match schedule and format

The top four teams from the group stage will compete in the semifinals to decide who will proceed to the grand finals. The losers from the semi-finals will compete for third place.

Both semifinals and third-place matches will be settled in a BO5 series while the grand finals will be a BO7 series.

The WCK 2022 playoffs will start with a match between KT Rolster and T1 on 16th April followed by the match between Kwangdong Freecs and Team GP on 17th April.

KT Rolster had the honor of representing Korea in the Horizon Cup 2021, last year’s Wild Rift world series. With new contenders for the WCK 2022 championship title, three slots shall be up for grabs for the upcoming world series. It will be interesting to see which teams end up representing Korea for this year's Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022.
