Upthrust Esports has revealed the details for the event including the prize pool, invited teams, format and more.

The Upthrust Esports India Rising Series 2024 BGMI event had open qualifiers with over 2000 teams competing. The top 8 teams from each group of the open qualifiers qualified for the further rounds. The Quarter Finals of the event saw 8 invited teams competing with 8 qualified teams. The top 6 teams from the qualifiers have now qualified for the Eliminator Week.

Prize Pool

This is the prize pool distribution of the event:

• Grand Finals - INR 5 Lakhs.

• Eliminator Week - INR 2 Lakhs.

• Weeks 1 and 2 - INR 4 Lakhs each.

Format

The Upthrust Esports India Rising Series 2024 BGMI event will have an Eliminator Week where 26 invited teams and 6 qualified teams will be divided into four groups of 8 each and will compete across the week with 6 matches being played each day.

The top 24 teams will then qualify for the weekly league stage which will be played for two weeks. The 24 teams will be divided into three groups of 8 each and will compete for 6 days, 4 days in the weekly qualifiers and 2 days in the weekly finals each week.

The top 16 teams from the weekly qualifiers will play the weekly finals. The top 16 teams from the overall standings of the weekly finals will qualify for the Grand Finals

Points System

This is the points system for the Upthrust Esports India Rising Series 2024:

• 1st place: 10 points.

• 2nd place: 6 points. 

• 3rd place: 5 points.

• 4th place: 4 points.

• 5th place: 3 points.

• 6th place: 2 points.

• 7th place: 1 point.

• 8th place: 1 point. 

• 9th - 16th place: 0 points.

• 1 Finish: 1 point.
