On 3rd March 2024, Skyesports made a post on its social media handle and revealed that Godlike Esports was disqualified from the ongoing Skyesports Champions Series 2024 Semi Finals. The matter was brought to the attention of fans after the conclusion of Day 5 of the Semi Finals.

The post shared by Skyesports read,“After a meticulous review of the recent event during the Skyesports Champions series semi-finals on Day 5, it has come to our attention that Godlike Esports, specifically with player GODL-Pookie, has been implicated in irregularities. The claim made by the team regarding the secondary account, GODL-Pookie, belonging to GODL-ZGOD has been investigated thoroughly.”

“Upon further scrutiny, we have received official confirmation from Godlike Esports indicating that, on day 5, the account in question was not operated by GODL-ZGOD. Instead, it was brought to our attention that GODL-GILL, a player not registered with Godlike Esports, participated using the aforementioned account.”

“In light of these findings, it has been determined that player ringing has taken place, thereby violating the fair play regulations of the SCS [Skyesports Champions Series] Event. Consequently, we regret to inform you that Godlike Esports is hereby disqualified from further participation in the ongoing SCS event. We uphold the integrity of our competitions and remain committed to maintaining a level playing field for all participants.”
