Bigetron Era dominated with a near-perfect tournament standing

Out of all the ten games played at the tournament, Bigetron Era only lost once (against GPX Basreng) during the grand finals, resulting in a final match score of 3-1. Both Indonesian teams put forth fantastic performances through the tournament.

GPX Basreng finished the group stage of the MWI 2022 with a 3-0 score in Group A while Bigetron Era finished with a solid 4-0 in Group B. Making their way through the playoffs without dropping a series, the two teams had serious momentum behind them as they headed into the grand finals.

In the grand finals of the MWI 2022, Bigetron Era started out quite dominantly. The team finished the first game as the winner in less than 12 minutes.

GPX Basreng seemingly managed to halt the bleed in the second game of the series and kept Bigetron Era from getting most of the objectives. Cindy “Cinny” Laurent Siswanto’s Selena rose to the occasion for Bigetron Era, allowing the team to gain the upper hand and win the second match.

GPX Basreng finally managed to end Bigetron Era’s winning streak by picking tanky or very agile heroes such as Lou Yi, Uranus, and Esmeralda. This caused Bigetron Era to make several misplays leading to a loss.

In the fourth game, GPX Basreng had a decent start to the game. However, a crucial team fight occurred at the 19-minute mark where GPX Basreng desperately tried to steal the Lord from Bigetron Era, but it was to no avail. This sealed the fate of GPX Basreng, giving Bigetron Era the chance to go all out and go for the win.

According to a report from ONE Esports, this is Bigetron Era’s 13th tournament win in a row.
