The former coach of Cerebrum Esports Vrendon “Vrendon” Lin may be TNC Pro Team’s new coach for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 9. The announcement was posted by Cerebrum Esports, revealing that Vrendon will soon become an MPL coach/analyst for TNC Pro Team. However, the MPL team is yet to confirm the addition of Vrendon as its head coach for the upcoming MPL PH Season 9. The MPL PH team is currently undergoing massive roster revamps following its lackluster performance in the previous season. The team only secured an 8th place finish in the previous season and failed to secure a spot in the playoffs.

TNC Pro Team is yet to finalize its team roster for MPL PH Season 9

One of the new contenders of the MPL PH - TNC Pro Team, which debuted during the league’s 8th season, recently released four of its core members in hopes of revamping its team roster. Three of its pro players Patrick "P-GOD" Grecia, Dylan "Light" Catipon, and Douglas "ImbaDeejay" Astibe left the team followed by its head coach John "Lift" Ruiz.

Amidst TNC Pro Team’s roster revamp, one of the Mobile Legends esports teams in the Philippines, Cerebrum esports announced the departure of its coach, Vrendon. According to the organization, its coach will be moving out to TNC Pro Team and will serve as the new MPL coach/analyst for the team.

“We are saddened by your departure but happy because your dream is now a reality! You are where you are right now because of your hard work, patience, and determination! We don't only produce champions, MPL players now we have helped produce an MPL caliber coach/analyst,” captioned Cerebrum esports.

However, this revelation is yet to be confirmed by TNC Pro Team itself, so take this information with a grain of salt. The MPL PH team is still working on scouting for potential candidates that will complete its team roster for the upcoming MPL PH Season 9.

What is Cerebrum Esports

The organization also has various teams, such as amateur and all-female Mobile Legends teams, that compete in local esports events in the region.

It will be interesting to see if Vrendon's acquisition will allow TNC Pro Team to redeem itself in the upcoming MPL PH Season 9.
